Our Mission

Our Mission is to develop those within our community by providing activities which grow the hearts and minds of our community members. We offer a number of youth programs. We are also planning after school programs to help improve reading and math skills, which integrates the use of technology in its methods

The Alvin Recreational Center (ARC) betters the lives of at-risk youth, seniors, and families in the rural community of Alvin, SC by providing safe and healthy recreational, educational, and culturally-enriching activities for residents year-round. ARC also serves as a community shelter in place for natural disasters. "The Center" also serves as a popular renting venue for wedding receptions, movies, Super Bowl parties, and more! We hope to see you here with us, enjoying what our community can bring.
